HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

About Course

This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

HLTAID009 will give you insight into how to recognise an emergency situation, perform CPR and report an incident correctly.
All pre-course learner material MUST be completed prior to training. If the material is not completed prior to training, you will be sent away and will forfeit your position in the class.
There are a total of forty-nine (49) questions that make up the pre-course learner material. There are a range of question styles such as: multiple choice, selection, fill in the blank and true or false.
The learner material and questions in the pre-course will take approximately one (1) hour to complete. The questions have been structured in order of performance criteria as referenced from HLTAID009 - Perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
If you have any struggles with questions, please first refer to the learner material given and the reference links to the PDF files from the Australian Resuscitation Council. If you are still struggling, call our office on 4262 7072.
Once you have completed the pre-course and received the certificate, you are now ready to come to class for your face-to-face training session.
